Damsons are a very old plum species, and remnants of them turn up occasionally in archaeological digs. Damsons were originally introduced to England from Syria by the Romans, but now are available in many different varieties.
Ingredients: Sugar, Damsons, Water, Freshly squeezed lemon juice, Pectin.
